DescriptionThis role's main responsibility is financial reporting,
analysis, and general support for corporate and executive
requirements. It will focus heavily on streamlining and automating
reporting, providing insightful analysis, and continually
identifying opportunities for process and cost improvements. Duties
and Responsibilities --- Work closely with Corporate departmental
senior management to understand variances and provide explanations
to the executive team. Research, analyze, and help explain
variances. --- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and
annual actual-to-budget/forecast variance analysis reports. ---
Utilize analytical capabilities to mine areas of the business and
drive behavior that has the highest possible impact on the
company's bottom line. --- Provide timely, insightful, and relevant
analysis of consolidated financial results on a periodic and ad hoc
basis. --- Prepare, review, and analyze Board of Directors, Monthly
Business Review, and Monthly Forecast management presentations. ---
Assist with coordination of the annual budget process and periodic
forecasting. Prepare, analyze, and consolidate financial
projections. --- Prepare, review, and analyze quarterly competitor
metrics and presentations. --- Involvement in special projects as
required for process improvement and drive costs down across the
organization. --- Assist, as needed, with other projects,
processes, or tasks as assigned by the Director and/or VP of
Finance.Qualification and Experience --- A Bachelor's degree in
Accounting or Finance is required. CFA and/or CPA designation a
plus. --- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or relevant
business experience needed. --- Strong analytical and computer
skills required. Excel super user (pivot tables, V-Lookups, macros,
ability to manage large amounts of data). High-level proficiency
with other Microsoft Office applications. --- Experience and
comfort with working with IT financial systems required. A high
degree of knowledge of all Southwire IT financial systems is a
plus. --- Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial
information --- Highly motivated self-starter with good
organizational skills to meet tight deadlines and to perform in a
fast-paced environment. --- Interact closely with management and
the ability to provide recommendations for process improvement. ---
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to
effectively interact with all levels of personnel across various
functions. --- Ability to gather information and review assumptions
for logic and reasonableness. --- Capable of working in a
timeline-driven environment while providing accurate information.
--- Flexibility to work extended hours as required to meet
deadlines. --- Understand the use and application of Business
Planning & Consolidation (BPC) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Required Education, Experience, and Skills Minimum Education Level:
Bachelor's Specialized Degree: Accounting or Finance Years of
