What the Accounts Payable Clerk will do: As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be a vital member of the accounting team responsible for managing the company's full cycle accounts payable process. Specific duties for the Accounts Payable Clerk include: Processing full-cycle accounts payable, including reviewing, coding, and posting invoices. Running weekly check runs, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors. Checking and approving all vouchers for payment, ensuring compliance with company policies. Prepare invoice deduction notices as necessary and address discrepancies. Responding to all vendor inquiries and maintaining strong vendor relationships. Analyze vendor accounts and negotiate extended payment terms when necessary. Preparing and issuing accounts payable checks and printing all A/P reports. Maintaining accounts payable files and performing required analysis of accounts. Assisted with monthly closings and worked on accounts receivable and special projects as needed. What the company needs in an Accounts Payable Clerk: 2-3 years of strong accounts payable experience in a fast-paced environment.
