Controller- CPA Atlanta, GA Real Estate Investment Firm Salary:
$100K - $150K A rapidly growing real estate investment firm based
in Atlanta is seeking a Controller to join its leadership team.
Specializing in retail and industrial developments, the firm is
poised for aggressive growth and is looking for a strategic,
hands-on financial leader to help scale its financial operations.
About the Role As Controller, you'll play a critical role in
shaping the financial infrastructure to support growth across the
company's key investment areas: Net lease retail assets and
value-add acquisition Speculative and build-to-suit industrial
developments Capital placement and investment structuring Tenant
collections, asset administration, and financial reporting You'll
collaborate closely with senior leadership, providing financial
oversight, driving process improvements, and helping guide the
firm's financial strategy as it expands over the next 3-5 years.
Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting and financial operations,
including budgeting, forecasting, general ledger, tax prep, and
compliance Implement scalable financial systems and internal
controls to support multiple business lines Oversee project-level
accounting and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Partner with asset management and development teams to provide
strategic financial insight Manage cash flow, investor reporting,
and capital management processes Build and mentor a growing
accounting team as the organization scales Qualifications for
Controller Proven experience in a financial leadership role within
real estate development and investment Strong understanding of
complex financial operations across development, acquisition, and
asset management CPA preferred; background in public accounting a
plus Excellent communication skills and a proactive, hands-on
leadership style Familiarity with property management software and
