Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. 2. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary. 3. Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation, and analysis. 4. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions. 5. Oversee taxes and abide by federal regulations. 6. Manage the cash flow of the company, ensuring that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational expenses, debt repayments, and investment needs. 7. Conduct detailed risk analyses and financial forecasts. 8. Prepare budgets and financial forecasts and report variances. 9. Perform balance sheet reconciliation. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position should possess the following: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus. 2. Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role. 3. Experience with MS Dynamics Great Plains System Software is required 4. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial statement preparation. 5. Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. 6. Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
