About the Department
The Department of History and Political Science at Perimeter
College is committed to enlivening history and political science
and wholly engaging our students in the learning process. Perimeter
College history courses provide in-depth study of issues, as well
as the background needed to help students make knowledgeable
decisions and rational life choices.
Position Description
Perimeter College is seeking part-time instructors in HISTORY who
will play a key role in educating and supporting students.
Required Experience

Required Education
A minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or
27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
Teaching experience is preferred.

Work Hours

Salary
$2100.00 for each 3 semester credit hour courses taught
New Rate Effective Fall 2025: $3075.00 for each 3-semester credit
hour course taught
