Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide
maternity leave coverage in the northern Atlanta area. This role is
based at a single elementary school serving students within the
Cherokee County School District. The assignment begins as soon as
possible and continues through the end of the current school year
(ending 5/22/26). Location: Alpharetta, GA (serving schools located
in Acworth and Woodstock) Position Type: Contract / Onsite Only
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (full-time,
part-time not considered) Student Age Group: Elementary School
Qualifications and Experience: Active Georgia Department of
Education certification Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist
license Experience working as an SLP in school settings preferred
Positions require professional SLP credentials; SLP Assistants
(SLPAs) will not be considered Maternity leave coverage for the
remainder of the school year Key Responsibilities: Evaluate,
diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in elementary
students Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student
needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff
to support student progress Maintain accurate records and
compliance with school district requirements Deliver direct therapy
services and participate in relevant student assessments Benefits
