Job Description Job Description Job Responsibilities We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in engineering principles and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role requires creativity, analytical thinking, and effective problem-solving abilities to support control panel design efforts. Requirements: Provide electrical CAD design support for the Engineering Department for control cabinet projects Transform initial concepts and rough sketches into fully detailed production ready submittal drawings Lead efforts to standardize control panel designs and improve internal design processes and best practices Design control panels and backplanes in accordance with BOM & UL 508A standards Collaborate effectively within cross functional teams to meet project goals and deadlines. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all deliverables within assigned responsibilities Develop and maintain comprehensive component library including component blocks, standard drawings, templates and other design assets Skilled in electrical component selection (breakers, relays, terminals, wire types etc.) based on application requirements, load calculations and industry standards MUST HAVE: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in control panel design, layout and documentation Proficient in AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical; experience with other CAD platforms such as Zuken, EPLAN is a plus Strong working knowledge of UL508A standards and control panel compliance requirements Strong ability to read, interpret and troubleshoot wiring diagrams, schematics and electrical diagrams Education Requirements: BS Degree in Electrical Engineering of related field (or equivalent experience)
