Machinist - Aerospace Precision The Opportunity Join a stable and
thriving aerospace leader where your craftsmanship meets advanced
technology. We are seeking a Expert Journeyman CNC Machinist to
lead our floor in a high-precision environment. You will go beyond
standard operation by setting up and running complex 3, 4, and
5-axis equipment—including Haas VF-6 and TR-310 trunnions—while
designing custom tooling and optimizing production processes. This
is a role for a technical expert who enjoys troubleshooting
advanced machining problems and mentoring the next generation of
talent in a supportive, team-oriented shop. Responsibilities
Understand basic and advanced machining techniques. Set up and
operate 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC equipment. Verify products using basic
inspection equipment. Deburr parts and follow Quality Management
Systems (QMS) procedures. Meet productivity standards and follow
job priority instructions. Communicate production delays and
problems to supervisors. Document work movement in the ERP system.
Support the Manufacturing team to achieve company and departmental
goals. Maintain 6S and Lean manufacturing best practices.
Participate in team and company meetings. Role model proper work
ethics, behaviors, hygiene, and dress. Design, specify, and create
tooling and production processes on CNC equipment. Provide training
and recommend qualifications for specific processes and equipment.
Troubleshoot advanced machining problems and monitor production
performance. Participate in safety and quality investigations and
recommend corrective action. Manage time and attendance, including
approval of time off and overtime. Essential Skills Experience with
3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines. Ability to interpret engineering
drawings and specifications. Basic understanding of inspection
techniques. Organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to
work independently as well as part of a team. Additional Skills &
Qualifications Intermediate to advanced knowledge of machining
processes. Experience providing on-the-job training or mentoring.
Experience developing tooling and production processes. Aptitude

an aerospace machine shop with a swing shift from 3:25 PM to 1:55
AM Monday through Thursday, and a weekend shift from 6:00 AM to
6:30 PM Friday through Sunday. Operate in a facility equipped with
Haas and 5 axis machines, including a VF-6 and a TR-310 trunnion.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out
of Auburn, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is
$35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits
and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
