You Can Imagine . As a member of the Low Speed Wind Tunnel (LSWT)
team within the Lockheed Martin Flight Sciences group in Marietta,
GA, the selected candidate will provide electrical and
instrumentation engineering support to our large scale, low speed
wind tunnel facility. The candidates responsibilities will involve
instrumentation, as well as development, operation, and maintenance
of wind tunnel electro-mechanical systems. Other tasks may include
support of wind tunnel test article installation, operation of wind
tunnel data acquisition systems, and repair and maintenance
activities. This is an application engineering position and
requires hands-on troubleshooting experience. The selected
candidate must be a self-starter and willing to accommodate varying
tasks within the department and assist other lab groups on an as
needed basis. The candidate must have good communication and
interpersonal skills, engage as a team player and be willing to
participate in building strong working and teaming relationships.

Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s Engineering Degree (Electrical,
Mechanical, or Aerospace) • Knowledge of National Instruments
LabVIEW and Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) • Hands-on experience
with electronics in a laboratory environment • Experience
troubleshooting laboratory systems using multimeters,
oscilloscopes, and other equipment • Ability to create and
interpret wiring schematics Desired skills • Masters or Ph.D. in
Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering • Experience
designing electrical circuits with analog and digital components •
Experience operating and maintaining data acquisition systems •
Knowledge of various programming languages (NI LabVIEW, MATLAB,
FORTRAN desired) to maintain and develop new capabilities •
Experience with 3D Solid Modeling CAD software (CATIA V5,
SolidWorks desired) • Microsoft Office skills • Willing and able to
support extended and off shift work schedules • Experience working
safely in hazardous laboratory environments • Ability to
effectively document and accurately convey technical data •
Demonstrated interpersonal skills to interface with multifunctional

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this
position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most
major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits

time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up
to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for
holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated
based on start date during the calendar year. This position is
incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for
this position in most major metropolitan areas in California,
Massachusetts, and New York is $125,600 - $217,695. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
