Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 11:00 - 21:30 Experience: Minimum 3 years; first timers accepted License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT (R)(CT) Must-Have: Ability to perform CT scans on inpatient, emergency, and outpatient patients. Description: Follow provided protocols and policies to perform CT scans. Start IVs and obtain patient consent. Provide excellent patient care. Maintain a positive and productive work environment with the current team of technologists, nurses, doctors, and transporters. Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Average caseload of 12-24 per day. Facility has a Level 3 Trauma designation with a substantial number of treatment areas. Use Siemens and Philips CT scanners, Epic Medical Records, and Fuji PACs. Scrub color is gray. Availability required for weekends every other weekend unless specified otherwise. Floating may be required within the facility if needed. Call requirements include a total of 8 days with at least 2 weeks' notice given. Expectation to work on major holidays that occur during the assignment period. Full compliance is required to start on time. Candidates will be clinically screened to determine fit before final decisions are made. References from two supervisory contacts are preferred during submission. Availability to submit core items and complete necessary labs within 48 hours of signing the contract is crucial. Local candidates are accepted. Return travelers must have completed one successful assignment outside prior to rebooking. Modules are completed during orientation and are non-billable.
