Position Job Title: CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant
Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Certified Surgical

Experience: Minimum 5 years preferred, 3 years considered License:
GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, CSFA, NBSTSA,
or NCCSA accepted Must-Have: Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular,
Thoracic experience Description: Position requires a privileging
process prior to starting. The candidate will complete a
privileging process taking approximately 120 days. Experience in
Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, and Thoracic procedures is
required. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shift days.
Weekend work is required only during call. Call is one day a week
and one weekend every four weeks, subject to change based on
departmental needs. Candidates may float within facility and to
main OR as needed. A clinical screen will be conducted to determine
clinical fit prior to final decision. Maximum Request Time Off is
seven days. Holidays cannot be requested off. Full compliance is
required to start on time. Travelers should be available to work
major holidays if assigned during those periods. Patient age groups
include adults and geriatrics. Effective communication and clinical
skills are essential for success in this role. The candidate must
demonstrate proficiency in a wide variety of surgical procedures.
Additional experience in trauma settings is preferred, but not
mandatory. The ability to work as a part of a multidisciplinary
