Overview: At Piedmont Walton, a 77-bed community hospital with a 15-bed Emergency Department and 8-bed ICU, our Respiratory Therapists are essential members of a high-performing, interdisciplinary care team. Serving a diverse patient populationfrom infants to older adultsour RTs provide expert care across a wide spectrum of acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Our therapists work in fast-paced, high-acuity areas including the ER, ICU, and Med-Surg units, supporting everything from mechanical ventilation, intubation, and ABGs to oxygen therapy, EKGs, and EEGs. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where clinical skill, critical thinking, and teamwork are valued every day. Responsibilities: Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education. Qualifications: Education Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences Required Work Experience No experience required Required 1 year of experience in performing professional respiratory duties Preferred Licenses and Certifications RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire Required and BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and ACLS Upon Hire Required Business Unit : Company Name: Piedmont Walton Hospital
