Job Description:
Job Opportunity: Medical Director - Neonatology Join our team as
an experienced neonatologist medical director at a leading
healthcare facility in Carrollton, Georgia. We are seeking a
well-trained and enthusiastic individual dedicated to providing
excellent care for our smallest patients. This facility has been
recognized as a "Top 15 Health System" by Truven Health Analytics
and serves the residents of west Georgia and east Alabama, ensuring
a significant impact on community health. Job Responsibilities:
Provide oversight of the practice, working closely with hospital
administration and the regional management team. Cover a growing
Level-III, 10-bed NICU practice with approximately 1,000 annual
births. Offer mentorship and guidance to other physicians; take on
leadership roles within the hospital and the community. Maintain a
full-time position with a one week on, one week off schedule.
Conduct rounding with call from home and ensure comprehensive NNP
coverage. Relocation may be required, with a permanent, full-time
position necessitating local residency. Open to visa sponsorship
candidates. Qualifications: Board Certified in Pediatrics -
REQUIRED Board Eligible (within 5 years of fellowship working
toward BC) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine -
REQUIRED GA license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (to be completed
prior to start) - REQUIRED Clean malpractice and license history -
HIGHLY PREFERRED REQUIRED DEA (must be obtained prior to start).
License and Certification Requirements: Board Certification in
Pediatrics. Board Eligibility or Board Certification in
Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Georgia state medical license (or
willing to obtain). DEA registration prior to start date.
