BLS and ACLS required. /n/nJob Details/n /n - Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC / Long-Term Acute Care Nurse (Night Shift)/n - Location: Midtown Atlanta, GA 30308 (On-site) — Atlanta RN jobs / Georgia travel nursing/n - Start Date: March 23, 2026/n - Contract Duration: 13 weeks (through June 22, 2026)/n - Shift: Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (12 Hour Nights) — Night Shift RN/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Openings: 3/n - Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,730 – $1,820/n /n/nMinimum Qualifications / Job Requirements/n /n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — eligible to practice in Georgia/n - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift/n - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift/n - Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical RN experience/n - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required; LTAC experience highly desired/n - Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and care planning skills/n /n/nKey Responsibilities/n /n - Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission and develop individualized care plans/n - Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate) with emphasis on rehabilitation and patient education/n - Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses per hospital policy — strong EMR/charting skills preferred/n - Communicate changes in patient status to the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity and safety of care/n - Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and interdisciplinary team conferences relevant to LTAC and post-acute care/n - Initiate discharge planning and patient/family teaching from day of admission/n - Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees/n - Promote a safe clinical environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards promptly/n - Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment through teamwork and effective communication/n - Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed following orientation/n /n/nWhy You'll Love This Travel Nursing Job in Atlanta/n Work in a dynamic Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in Midtown Atlanta — an ideal location for travel nursing jobs, offering easy access to restaurants, cultural attractions, parks, and public transportation.
