This opportunity is ideal for a skilled nurse with specialized experience in Operating Room Trauma (ORT) care, eager to work in a dynamic Level 1 trauma environment. The role requires at least two years of Level 1 trauma experience, which must be verifiable through your work history, and strong proficiency in managing craniotomy patients as demonstrated by a skills checklist rating. Location Based in Atlanta, GA, a vibrant city known for its rich history, diverse culture, and bustling healthcare community. Schedule Day shift: 6:45 AM7:15 PM No call or holiday shifts Two-week repeating schedule includes weekday nights No block scheduling required Core Responsibilities Deliver exceptional perioperative care to trauma patients, including those undergoing complex procedures such as craniotomies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-acuity trauma unit Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure all demographic and professional documentation is current and complete in your profile system Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience in a Level 1 trauma center, specifically noted in work history Demonstrated proficiency with craniotomy patient care and other critical trauma interventions Ability to maintain up-to-date and accurate professional and demographic documentation, including full Social Security number and professional identification photo Strong communication and critical thinking skills to thrive in a high-pressure OR environment Additional Information This is a travel nursing position, offering the chance to gain new experiences while working in one of Atlantas leading trauma centers.
