Details - Position is on the 5B Surgical Unit of a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center - Handles complex, high-volume, and diverse surgical cases including orthopedic and trauma - Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week - 4 weekend shifts per month required - No block scheduling — scheduling is deferred to unit needs - No on-call requirements - No approved RTO (time off) for this assignment Requirements - Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact state license required - Current BLS certification required - Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience with strong ortho/trauma surgical skills - Experience in high-acuity, high-volume, large-scale trauma environments required - Background in hospitals with diverse and severe case complexity required - Skills checklist matching the Med/Surg specialty required for consideration - Copies of certifications required for consideration - Resume and work history including EMR used required for consideration Additional Information - This facility is a Level 1 trauma center managing complex, fast-paced, and high-volume cases — candidates must have proven success in similar environments - Local candidates are accepted for this position - Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals are not well-suited for this role American Traveler Job ID P-688162.
