JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Rheumatology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Jonesboro, GA 30236 Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Jun 24, 2026 Sep 30, 2026 Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 8a 5p Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 15 FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required: Arthrocentesis Joint/soft tissue injection Preferred: Tissue biopsy Microscopic specimen evaluation Arthroscopy Diagnostic/therapeutic taps Thoracentesis Bone mineral density studies Management of vascular access devices/central venous catheters Familiarity with intravenous therapies EMG NCV JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE Licenses: Licensed in GA Certifications: BLS Duties & Responsibilities Provide high-quality Rheumatology care in an outpatient setting. Ability to float between two designated clinic locations. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Epic EMR system. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
