We currently have a direct hire remote opportunity available for a SAP PI/PO Integration Developer. This position is primarily remote, but our client strongly prefers that the individual lives in the Southeast part of the country or second preference live in EST.

About this role:
The SAP PI/PO Integration Developer will play a key role in delivering innovative integration solutions that align with our clients' business needs. In this role, you will collaborate closely with functional groups within the Corporate and business unit organizations, communicate business needs, and contribute to long-range system plans. The ideal candidate will have experience developing SAP PO/PI, ABAP, and APIs, as well as linking PI to both SAP and multiple non-SAP systems. Knowledge of SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) is required.

• Deliver SAP Technical Design Specifications for backend and integration layers based on Functional Specifications.????
• Deliver SAP development objects according to Technical Design Specifications in collaboration with the functional leader.???
• Assist and train functional leaders in providing detailed Functional Requirements.???
• Act as a liaison between the business units, corporate back office (Accounting, AR, AP), and IT.???
• Implement integration strategies for SAP and legacy applications.??
• Support unit testing and assist with integration and user acceptance testing.??
• Be responsible for urgent (blocking) code corrections while adhering to SAP transport rules.???
• Execute planned activities in the non-production environment as a member of our Integration team.???
• If time permits, engage in code development, focusing on more complex programs requiring high interaction with functional consultants.??
• Stay current with the latest SAP versions and developments, including SAP S4, SAP PO/CPI, EDI, and emerging features and tools. Contribute to the roadmap for future directions.

    Who we would like to meet:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mgmt. Info. Sys., or related field; Master's in Computer Science desirable.??
    • 2 years of relevant work experience in interface design & development using PI as the middleware tool, delivering SAP integration solutions for On-Premise and hybrid Cloud scenarios using integration protocols and adapters. (Examples: B2B, Flat file, JDBC, EDI, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, SOAP, REST, RFC, IDOC, ALE/EDI, JMS, JDBC, ODBC etc.
    • Expertise in ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, Webdynpro, BAPI, BADI, RFC, IDOC, BDC, and ALV programming.
    • Proficiency in SAP PI/PO/CPI with knowledge of different mapping styles (Graphical Mapping, Java Mapping, XSLT Mapping).
    • Experience integrating legacy systems (AS400) to SAP.
    • Experience integrating SAP with cloud-based external systems using, PI, sFTP, and DataServices
    • Experience with ECC 6.0 or S/4, including an understanding of the enhancement framework.
    • Experience in developing various SAP modules, including FI, CO, MM-AP, SD-AR. Knowledge of FSCM is a plus.
    • Experience working with BRF+ is a plus.
