Join Georgia System Operations Corporation's team as a Co-Op
Student for the Spring of 2025! This exciting role on-site in
Tucker, GA, offers you a unique opportunity to gain hands-on

Georgia System Operations Corporation, you will have the
opportunity to support and learn from our associates with decades
of combined industry knowledge. This opportunity within GSOC's
Power Delivery Engineering department will include up to 3
rotations beginning as early as Spring 2025. We'll support you in
refining your current skills and discovering new ones all while
gaining valuable insights and experience in a professional
environment. This hands-on experience will not only expand your
knowledge in the Utility industry but also provide you with
tangible skills that will benefit your future career endeavors.
Position Requirements: Successful candidates for the Co-op position
at Georgia System Operations Corporation should possess strong
verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact
with team members and stakeholders. Time management skills are
essential to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
efficiently. The ability to thrive in a professional environment
and collaborate with cross-functional teams is crucial for success
in this role. Hands-on experience with common technology used in a
professional business setting as well as proficiency in Microsoft
Office tools are necessary for daily tasks and project execution.
Candidates should demonstrate a passion for learning and applying
knowledge in a practical setting. Enrolled in a bachelor's degree
program at an accredited college/university with a minimum 2.8 GPA
in one of the following areas of study preferred: Engineering, Data
Science/Analytics, Industrial Systems, Computer Science,
Optimization/Machine Learning or related field. Accepted in the
college or university's formal Co-op program. Knowledge, skills,
and abilities required for the position are: Strong verbal and
written communication skills. Exceptional analytical,
troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Time management skills
and a strong work ethic. Expanding technology skills commensurate
with your current education level Hands-on experience with
technology, including Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, computer
hardware, and software. Ability to work in a professional
environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Must be
enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited College or
University Must have a minimum 2.8 GPA and have completed at least
2 semesters of college level coursework prior to the start of the
first rotation; unofficial transcripts required prior to the start
of each rotation. Ability to commit to 3 full time semester
rotations, up to 40 hour each week, onsite at GSOC offices in
