Atlanta| Hybrid AmLaw 50 Firm | 2000 Billable Hour Target An AmLaw 50 law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Technology Transactions practice in Atlanta. This role is well-suited for an attorney with experience advising on complex technology and intellectual property matters who is interested in sophisticated transactional work at the intersection of technology, IP, and corporate transactions. The Role The associate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys on a range of technology and intellectual property matters, including drafting and negotiating technology licensing agreements and advising on intellectual property and technology issues arising in corporate transactions. The practice includes counseling clients on trade secret protection, artificial intelligence issues, data processing matters, and complex commercial agreements related to development, manufacturing, supply, distribution, and services. The role also involves supporting M&A, private equity, and other corporate transactions by advising on technology and IP diligence issues such as chain of title, inbound and outbound licenses, open-source software considerations, and related transaction documentation. Ideal Background 4–5 years of experience in technology transactions or related IP-focused transactional work Experience drafting and negotiating technology licensing and commercial agreements Experience advising on technology and IP issues in M&A or private equity transactions Familiarity with trade secrets, artificial intelligence counseling, open-source software, and data processing matters preferred Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills Active member of the Georgia Bar Why This Opportunity Technology Transactions practice within an AmLaw 50 platform Sophisticated work involving emerging technologies and complex corporate transactions Collaborative team structure with strong partner interaction Hybrid flexibility in the Atlanta office Compensation range: $265,000 – $365,000 depending on experience and qualifications Confidential Inquiries All inquiries will be handled with strict confidentiality.
