What Will You Enjoy Doing The Vice President of Manufacturing is
responsible for leading and advancing ALPLA North America’s
manufacturing strategy, operations, and performance across all
production facilities. This executive will ensure scalable,
world-class manufacturing capabilities that meet customer
expectations for quality, cost, service, and sustainability.
Strategic Leadership & Manufacturing Excellence Develop and execute
a North America manufacturing strategy that supports business
growth, customer requirements, and global standards. Ensure
manufacturing capabilities, capacity, and processes scale
effectively as the business grows toward $1B in revenue. Drive
world-class performance in safety, quality, cost, and delivery
across all facilities. Operations & Performance Management Oversee
production planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure
high-quality, on-time delivery of products. Implement and
continuously improve Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process
optimization initiatives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
and drive accountability for achieving operational and financial
objectives. Financial & Asset Stewardship Establish and manage
manufacturing budgets, delivering cost efficiency and maximizing
return on assets. Lead initiatives to reduce waste, optimize supply
chain integration, and improve throughput and asset utilization.
Partner with finance to forecast and monitor operational
performance against objectives. People Leadership & Development
Build, mentor, and inspire a strong operations leadership team with
succession-ready talent. Foster a culture of accountability,
collaboration, and continuous improvement across all plants.
Strengthen employee engagement, retention, and relations through
transparent communication and leadership presence. Compliance,
Safety & Sustainability Ensure strict adherence to safety
standards, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.
Champion ALPLA’s sustainability commitments through efficient
resource utilization and waste reduction initiatives. Lead by
example with integrity and a hands-on leadership style. Performance
Metrics Achievement of safety goals (e.g., TRIR, lost-time
incidents). Production efficiency On-time delivery and customer
satisfaction scores. Cost reduction, productivity gains, and
working capital improvements. Employee engagement and retention
levels within manufacturing teams. What Makes You Great Bachelor’s
degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or
Chemical) required; MBA preferred. 20 years of progressive
experience in high-volume, multi-site manufacturing leadership,
ideally within a global ISO-certified organization. Proven track
record implementing Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and
automation/digitalization strategies. Experience leading
production, quality, logistics, and/or engineering functions.
Demonstrated success managing growth and scaling operations in
complex, fast-paced environments. Strong leadership presence with
excellent people management, communication, and change management
skills. Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to
balance strategic vision and operational detail. Able to travel up
