Job Description:
A company is looking for a Payer Contracting Specialist
responsible for negotiating payer contracts and ensuring compliance
with reimbursement agreements.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and negotiation of payer contracts to
secure favorable reimbursement rates
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between payer
contracts and business objectives
Conduct analysis of payer reimbursement rates and resolve
discrepancies in payer rates
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, finance,
or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in payer contracting, revenue
cycle management, or healthcare finance
Strong understanding of payer reimbursement methodologies and fee
schedule management
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and contract management systems
Experience working in a multi-state healthcare environment is
preferred
