Job Description:
A company is looking for a Mortgage Loan Underwriter II to
evaluate credit risk and determine borrowers' ability to repay
residential mortgages.
Key Responsibilities
Review loan packages for completeness and compliance with
established policies
Analyze financial data to assess borrowers' repayment capacity and
document risk mitigation
Interact with team members and provide updates throughout the loan
lifecycle while ensuring compliance with guidelines
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of underwriting experience in financial services or
mortgage banking
Minimum 5 years of experience in jumbo underwriting to investor or
organization's guidelines
Minimum 5 years of experience with state and federal lending
regulations
Familiarity with FNMA/FHLMC guidelines preferred
