Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Perfusionist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/14/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Perfusionist to join a high-performing cardiovascular team in Atlanta, GA . The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting open-heart surgeries by managing cardiopulmonary bypass and related life-support systems. Responsibilities: Operate heart-lung machine and extracorporeal circulation equipment during surgeries Monitor and adjust oxygenation, blood flow, and patient vitals in real-time Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff Prepare and administer blood products and medications during procedures Maintain and troubleshoot perfusion equipment Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in perfusion science or related field Must hold a valid Georgia state license to practice as a Perfusionist Minimum 1–2 years of experience (travel experience a plus) BLS required Strong attention to detail and decision-making under pressure Must be eligible to work in the U.S. "Stipend is provided to the travelers above 50 miles only" About Prime Staffing At Prime Staffing, we understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for both our clients and candidates.
