Job Description Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced GIS Tech to fill a 2-year assignment in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Job Title: GIS Tech Work Location: Atlanta, Ga 30309 Estimated Start Date: 7/11/2025 Estimated Duration of Job Assignment: 7/11/2027 Requirements: Please send me your resume to lmccarron@jsginc.com Rates: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour This position will be Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote). Education: Diploma or certificate in Geographical Information Systems or related curriculum. Experience: 2-4 Years Experience in a related field. Job responsibilities: Manage routine GIS tasks Including data management and map creation ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Create maps and other visual representations using GIS tools. Ensure timely updates to GIS databases. Collaborate with GIS Analysts on complex projects. Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies. Provide input on GIS tool enhancements. Skill Sets & Expertise: 2-4 Years working with GIS software, tools, and databases. Is this position supporting a government-related project? No Does worker require NERC/CIP access?
